- cocoa - 2 tablespoons

Recipe with photo step by step:

Pour water into a bowl, add sugar, honey. Heat the mass by stirring it. Then cool.

Pour in vegetable oil.

Add flour and cocoa. Mix everything well and pour the chocolate base into a rectangular silicone mold or any other shape.

Send the "Gingerbread" to a preheated oven (190 degrees) for 30-35 minutes.

Cooking time: 45 minutes / Serves: 8 pieces / Measuring cup 220 ml

Ingredients

  • wheat flour 2 half cups
  • sugar 0.5 cup
  • honey 2 tbsp. l.
  • nuts any 0.5 cup
  • raisins 1 handful
  • dried cranberries 1 handful
  • soda 0.5 tsp
  • vegetable oil 3-4 tbsp. l.
  • juice multivitamin 1 cup
  • ground cinnamon 1 tsp
  • pinch ground coriander
  • vanilla sugar 1 tsp
  • cocoa 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking

Combine fruit juice, sugar, vanilla sugar, honey and vegetable oil in a saucepan. Lightly heat the mixture, stirring with a silicone spatula or whisk, until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture becomes "whole".

Sift flour into a deep bowl, add cocoa, soda, coriander and cinnamon. Soda is needed in order for the gingerbread to rise, to turn out more magnificent. No need to extinguish it at this stage: when you combine the dry and liquid parts, the sour fruit juice will extinguish it right in the dough. Coriander and cinnamon are one of options spices, it seems to me, very successful. Alternative: vanilla, ginger, dry mint, cloves, cardamom, orange peel etc.

Mix all dry ingredients with a whisk. Do this carefully so that you get a uniform, homogeneous mixture, this is especially important for soda.

Lightly dry the nuts in a pan, cool.

Grind lightly, crush the nuts with a pestle or rolling pin.

Raisins and cranberries zalete hot water, let stand for 10 minutes. (It is better to do this in advance). Rinse under cold water, dry with a paper towel or fold for a while in a colander. Dried fruits will thus “reveal” their taste and aroma, and since you dry them, they will be evenly distributed inside the dough.

Mix dry and liquid ingredients. Mix everything thoroughly with a whisk so that there are no lumps.

Pour the nuts into the mixture.

    Then add raisins and cranberries.

    Mix everything well again.

Line the bottom of a baking dish with parchment paper.

Pour the dough into the mold. If you want a low gingerbread, divide the dough into two parts or bake it in a large diameter form.

Cook the gingerbread in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes without convection. Readiness should be checked with a wooden skewer, it should be dry.

Carefully remove the finished gingerbread from the mold and cool on a wire rack.

Sprinkle the lean honey cake with powdered sugar, raisins, or nuts before serving.
