This frozen cherry pie made my day. I prepared him for the arrival of guests and did not miss. The cherry pie turned out to be extremely successful. And I cooked it relatively quickly. This cherry pie does not require any special troubles. The only thing that can cause a slight delay in the preparation of this frozen cherry pie is the bones, which should be removed from the frozen cherries (well, the latter, respectively, must be defrosted before that). Everything else in the recipe is a matter of minutes.

I would also like to say a few words about frozen cherries. Why is the pie with this filling? Now is the height of spring and before fresh berries still far away, and in many freezers (just like mine) there are summer supplies of frozen cherries. I usually make such stocks of cherries in sufficient quantities to add them to compotes in the winter or make cakes and pies from them. So, spring is in full swing, and the cherry in the freezer does not end there. And this is a good reason to make such a wonderful pie out of it.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g frozen cherries (weight with pits)
  • 150 g flour
  • 100 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder (flat)

How to make frozen cherry pie

Butter (100 g) should be taken out of the refrigerator in advance and allowed to soften a little. We will work with soft butter, otherwise you simply will not be able to mix butter and sugar.

So, we combine 100 g of butter and 100 g of sugar (we will save another 50 g of sugar for later). Using a mixer, mix the ingredients until a more or less homogeneous creamy state.


Add two eggs to the butter and sugar and continue working with a mixer. The mass will become more fluid.


This is the mass you should end up with after a few minutes from the start of making the frozen cherry pie dough. But this is still not dough.


Add to a bowl to our mass 150 g of flour, vanilla sugar and baking powder. We will work with a mixer for about three minutes, as a result of which we get a rather thick creamy dough for a pie with frozen cherries.


We take out the baking dish. Better to take a detachable one (I have 19 cm in diameter). Line the bottom of the form with a piece of parchment. Then put the dough from the bowl into the mold and using a silicone spatula or just a spoon, distribute the dough evenly over the entire area of ​​the mold.

Set the frozen cherry pie pan aside. It's time to turn on the oven for preheating. We set the temperature to 180 degrees.


While the oven is preheating, let's start with frozen cherries. I thawed my cherry in microwave oven and then removed the bones. She threw the cherries into a colander and squeezed the juice out of it with her hands.


We return to the form with the test. Take half of the cherry and distribute it evenly over the surface of the dough. Then gently press the berries directly into the dough with your hand, not deep.

    This recipe was the signature of many of our grandmothers. Therefore, a pie with a cup of hot drink will bring back memories of distant childhood.

    Ingredients:

    • sugar - 200 g;
    • baking powder - sachet;
    • egg - 2 pcs.;
    • vanillin;
    • flour - 620 g;
    • fresh frozen cherries - 750 g;
    • butter - 200 g.

    Preparation:

    1. Pour eggs into the melted butter.
    2. Pour flour with sugar and vanilla.
    3. Place baking powder.
    4. Knead the dough. Put in the refrigerator, covered with a bag.
    5. Cut the mass into pieces, one of which will be larger.

    Open shortcrust cake with frozen cherries

    Ingredients:

    For the test:

    • flour - 300 g;
    • sour cream - 125 g;
    • granulated sugar - 60 g;
    • baking powder - 7 g;
    • butter margarine or butter - 125 g;
    • eggs - 2 pcs.;
    • salt;

    For filling:

    • frozen cherries - 300 g;
    • potato starch - 2 tbsp. spoons;
    • eggs - 1 pc.;
    • sour cream - 100 g;
    • granulated sugar - 75 g;
    • vanillin - 2 g.

    Preparation

    Combine softened creamy margarine or butter, sour cream and sugar and mix thoroughly. Then, gradually adding sifted wheat flour, knead the soft, slightly sticky dough. We distribute the dough in a split form along the bottom and form not very high sides. Sprinkle the top of the dough with one spoonful of starch, lay out the thawed and slightly squeezed cherries and sprinkle evenly with the remaining starch.

    For pouring, mix and beat milk, sour cream, egg, vanillin and sugar and pour the resulting mass into our cherries. We put the cake pan in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for thirty-five to forty minutes.

    Cool the finished cake completely and only then take it out of the mold onto a dish.

    Quick Frozen Cherry Pie

    Ingredients:

    • frozen cherries - 300 g;
    • flour - 100 g;
    • soft butter - 50 g;
    • sugar - 125 g;
    • baking powder - 6 g;
    • vanilla sugar - 1 packet;
    • eggs - 1 pc.;
    • powdered sugar.

    Preparation

    Grind soft butter with vanilla sugar and 70 grams of granulated sugar. Then, stirring until smooth, add the egg and flour with baking powder. Put the dough in a greased dish with butter, level and distribute the thawed and slightly squeezed cherries on top. Then sprinkle with sugar on top and send to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for about forty minutes. Let the freshly baked pie cool thoroughly, and only now we put it on a dish, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.

    Frozen cherry pie in a slow cooker

    Ingredients:

    • frozen cherries - 300 g;
    • margarine - 100 g;
    • flour - 250-300 g;
    • sour cream or - 200 g;
    • sugar - 125 g;
    • baking soda - 1/2 tsp;
    • vanilla sugar - 1 packet;
    • eggs - 2 pcs.;
    • powdered sugar.

    Preparation

    Beat eggs well with granulated sugar and vanilla sugar. Then we introduce sour cream or yogurt, food slaked soda, melted margarine and mix. Now, gradually adding the sifted flour, knead the dough with a consistency like thick sour cream... If you use sour cream of flour, you need 250 grams, but if you decide to make a pie with yogurt or replace it with kefir, then when kneading the flour, about 300 grams will go away.

    When the dough is ready, put half into the missed multicooker bowl, distribute some of the thawed and squeezed cherries on top, then lay out the remaining dough and melt the remaining berries again. We bake the cake in the "Baking" mode for one hour. Gently remove the still hot pie from the bowl, cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
