Lazy kurnik recipe with mayonnaise and sour cream. Lazy chicken. The laziest kurnik: a step-by-step cooking process

Step 1: prepare the eggs for the filling.

3 eggs put in a small saucepan and completely fill with ordinary cold water. We put the container on a large fire and wait for the liquid to boil. Immediately after this, slightly screw the burner and boil the hard-boiled eggs for 10 minutes. Then, with the help of kitchen gloves, we take the pan and rearrange it in the sink under a stream of cold water. Attention: the components must be completely cool, otherwise it will be difficult to remove the shell from them. By the way, do not forget to turn off the burner, it will not be useful to us yet.

Next, lay the peeled eggs on a cutting board and, using a knife, finely chop into cubes. Pour the crushed components into a free plate and proceed to the preparation of meat.

Step 2: prepare the chicken fillet.

Rinse thoroughly chicken fillet and lay out on a cutting board. With the help of a knife, we clean the meat from veins, cartilage, films and excess fat. Next, cut the component into small pieces and transfer to a clean plate.

Step 3: prepare the onion.

With a knife, peel the onion from the husk and rinse thoroughly under running water. Then we spread the component on a cutting board and finely chop into cubes. Pour the chopped onion into a clean plate.

Step 4: prepare the filling for the chicken coop.

Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into a frying pan and place over medium heat. When the contents of the container warm up well, put the pieces of chicken fillet here. From time to time, stirring with a wooden spatula, fry the meat until most of the liquid has evaporated. Then pour the chopped onion into the pan and continue to cook the filling. At the end, when the components acquire a golden crust, add curry, freshly ground black pepper, and salt to taste. Once again, mix everything thoroughly with improvised equipment, fry for a couple of minutes and turn off the burner.

Fresh herbs can be added to the filling if desired. To do this, we wash a couple of sprigs of dill and parsley under running warm water, shake off excess liquid and put it on a cutting board. Finely chop the ingredients with a knife and pour into a common frying pan.

Next, wash green onion and cut it in the same way. Pour this component into the same container and immediately after that add the chopped boiled eggs.
Using a tablespoon, mix everything thoroughly until smooth. Everything, the filling for the chicken is ready! I admit, I very rarely add fresh herbs to such a pie. The only thing when summer comes, I can add a couple of sprigs of parsley and one onion feather to the filling. And then see how you taste better.

Step 5: prepare the dough.

Using a knife, break the shells of the remaining eggs, and pour the yolks with proteins into a deep bowl. Here we add kefir and mayonnaise. Using a hand whisk, beat everything thoroughly until we get a homogeneous mass.

Now, in small portions, pour the flour into a sieve and sift it over a common container. Attention: in parallel with this, we continue to beat everything with improvised equipment so that lumps do not form. We should get the dough a little thicker than like pancakes.

Step 6: Cooking a Lazy Kurnik.

Lubricate the bottom and walls of the baking dish with a small amount of vegetable oil. Next pour here 1/3 part dough and immediately cover it with the filling. At the end, add the remaining thick mass and use a tablespoon to level its surface.

Now turn on the oven and preheat it to temperature 160-180 degrees. Immediately after that, put the mold on the middle level and bake the cake for 40 minutes. When the pastries are covered with a beautiful golden brown and become hard, turn off the oven, and take out the container with the help of kitchen gloves and set aside. Let our lazy kurnik cool down a bit.

Step 7: serve lazy chicken.

When the chicken becomes warm, use a knife to cut it into portioned pieces and move it to a special plate. We serve a delicious, lush, fragrant and very satisfying pie to the dinner table as a main course along with tea or coffee. Yes, chicken is really good! You can easily treat them to family members and friends for breakfast or dinner and, believe me, no one will go hungry!
Bon appetit everyone!

In addition to chicken and boiled eggs, you can add any other ingredients to the filling. For example, these may be fried mushrooms, pounded boiled potatoes, as well as various vegetables to your taste;

To prepare the dough, try to use wheat flour premium, fine grinding and proven brand;

Before cooking, the filling of the pie can be sprinkled with a little chopped fresh thyme. Then the dish will acquire an unforgettable aroma and taste.

Lazy kurnik on sour cream.

Many housewives know that cooking a chicken takes a lot of time and effort. Today I suggest you cook a delicious lazy chicken chicken quickly and easily. This version of the chicken is different from the classic, but it turns out no less tasty and fragrant. Dough for kurnik on sour cream is very easy to prepare: you need to mix all the ingredients with a whisk, add wheat flour and you're done.

This traditional Russian pie in the old days was called father-pie or the king of pies. Usually it was prepared special occasion or for a big holiday. For the wedding, two festive kurniks were baked at once, one pie for the groom, the second for the bride. This multi-layered dish with a variety of fillings was beautifully decorated by making a pigtail, flowers or curly patterns from the dough.
There are two versions of where this cake got such an unusual name from. Some believe that its name is due to the fact that the filling is based on chicken meat. Others argue that the Cossacks came up with this name, because outwardly the cake reminded them of their housing - a large round chicken. Moreover, a hole was specially made in the pie, from which steam escaped during cooking - smoke “smoked”.

This chicken variant is jellied pie with fragrant filling of meat, mushrooms and vegetables. The dish is very tender, soft and satisfying.

Ingredients:
For test:
premium wheat flour-450 g
chicken eggs - 3 pcs.
sour cream with a fat content of 15% -0.5 tbsp.
mayonnaise "Provencal" (you can use homemade) -0.5 tbsp.
purified water-250 ml
pinch of fine table salt

For filling:
chilled chicken fillet or breast-300 g
fresh mushrooms (champignons or oyster mushrooms) -200 g
medium-sized onion - 2 pcs.
large potatoes - 1 pc.
table salt - to taste
ground black pepper-0.5 tsp.
seasonings for chicken (curry, Italian herbs) -1 tsp.
fresh herbs (parsley, cilantro, dill) - a few sprigs
sesame seeds for decorating the cake - 2 tsp

Recipe

Step 1: Whisk eggs for dough
First of all, turn on the oven to the maximum so that it warms up well. Now, according to the recipe, we will drive three chicken eggs into a deep bowl or bowl.

Using a whisk, beat the eggs until smooth. Do not use a mixer for this purpose or beat the eggs too long and vigorously. The main thing is that the whites and yolks mix well.

Step 2: Add sour cream and mayonnaise to beaten eggs
Now we introduce sour cream and mayonnaise into the egg mixture in equal proportions. For this recipe, you can use only sour cream or mayonnaise. Then you will need 1 glass of the product. I decided to add homemade mayonnaise to sour cream to make the kurnik softer and more tender.

Thoroughly mix the mass with a whisk so that all the ingredients are combined.

Step 3: Add Purified Water to Egg Mix
Next, according to the recipe, pour a glass of purified water at room temperature into the mixture. Mix all the ingredients again with a whisk to make the mixture homogeneous.

Step 4: Add the sifted wheat flour and salt to the mixture
Next, add the sifted wheat flour of the highest grade to the mixture. We will do this in several steps to avoid the appearance of lumps. After adding some of the flour, mix the mixture thoroughly until smooth. Then we introduce the next part of the flour. In this way, add all the flour to the dough. To make it fresh, add a little fine salt and mix.

The finished dough for the kurnik should be homogeneous and thick enough, like on pancakes.

Step 5: Cut the Onion for the Stuffing
Peel two heads of onions. It is better to use sweet lettuce without bitterness. Cut the onion into thin rings, as indicated in the recipe.

Step 6: Chop the Mushrooms
Wash and clean the mushrooms. If desired, other mushrooms, such as oyster mushrooms or chanterelles, can be used for this recipe. Cut the mushrooms into slices of medium thickness so that they are felt in the filling of the pie.

Step 7: Preparing Chicken Meat for Chicken Stuffing
For this dish, it is better to use chilled meat, rather than defrosted. Fresh fillets are juicier and more tender. Wash and dry the chicken fillet from excess moisture. We clean the meat from films and fat. Cut the chicken fillet into small square pieces, as required by the recipe.

Transfer the chopped meat to a deep plate or bowl. Sprinkle the fillets with salt, pepper and chicken seasonings. I used curry, you can take ready mix spices for chicken or add your favorite spices: turmeric, dry garlic, ground ginger, basil, oregano. Mix the chicken fillet with spices and salt.

Step 8: Trem raw potatoes on a large grater
For the filling for this recipe, we will use raw ingredients that have not passed the preliminary heat treatment. Wash large potatoes and peel them. Grind it on a grater with large holes. This step is best done last so that the potatoes do not darken when exposed to air.

Step 9: Preparing the Cake Mold
If you are using a silicone mold, then it does not need to be pre-prepared. The metal form must be greased with odorless vegetable oil and covered with parchment paper. To make it more convenient to get the chicken out of the mold, it is better to use a detachable mold.

Step 10: Forming a Lazy Coop
At the bottom of the prepared form, pour half liquid dough. Using a silicone spatula, spread it evenly over the shape.

Next lay out the onion rings. Try to keep the onion layer even.

Lay the mushroom slices on top of the onion. Salt the mushrooms a little.

Now put the grated potatoes on the mushrooms. Spread it over the barn in an even layer. Also add some salt to the potatoes. It can be seasoned with black pepper if desired.

Pour the second half of the dough over the filling. Try to pour the dough in a thin stream so as not to damage the filling layer.

Sprinkle the top of the cake with sesame seeds (you can use flax seeds).

Step 11: Bake the Kurnik with Sour Cream
Reduce the heat in the oven to 180 degrees. Carefully put the form with the pie on a baking sheet and send it to the oven. We will bake the dish according to the recipe for 45-60 minutes until golden brown on top. Check readiness with a wooden skewer or toothpick. Let's stick it in the pie for a few seconds. If it is dry, without traces of dough, the kurnik is ready. Carefully remove the finished product from the oven. Let the cake cool down a bit room temperature. Carefully remove it from the mold and cut into portioned pieces.

Step 12: Serve the dish
Serve the finished kurnik warm, garnished with fresh herbs. The dish goes well with fresh or pickled vegetables. Such a simple cake is convenient to take with you to work or to nature.
