In fact, there are only three products in it - flour, cheese and water (we will not count small additional ones), but their combination gives an unimaginably wonderful result: appetizing, fragrant, beautiful, satisfying. Usually I cook such a thing in two cases. The first is when in the evening I suddenly realize that we don’t have a crust of bread left for breakfast, and we have to feed the people with something. The second is when excess cheese is formed in the refrigerator, requiring immediate disposal. Finally, this one comes into play yeast bread recipe with cheese. The dish is uncomplicated. You can supplement it with ham or tomatoes, add greens or olives, but it will be a completely, completely different recipe, a different format and a different meaning. Therefore - just a cake, just with cheese. Fast, simple and easy.

How to bake yeast bread with cheese

Ingredients:

450 g flour;

250 ml of water;

2/3 tsp yeast;

1 egg;

30 g of vegetable oil;

500 g of cheese (you can mix - hard, cheese, mozzarella, etc.);

Instruction

  • In the evening, mix flour, salt, sugar, yeast. We add water vegetable oil, egg. We spread it on a sheet of baking paper, stretch it into a thin circle with our hands or a rolling pin. Leave for 15 minutes, covered with a towel.
  • While the dough is proofing, grate the cheese, mix. Sprinkle the cakes evenly over them.
  • We bake at a temperature of 200 degrees for about 15 minutes each.

The recipe for these cakes came to us from Italy. There they are called "focaccia" and are served instead of bread. Cakes are prepared with different fillings, but they are especially tasty and fragrant with cheese and Provence herbs.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml olive oil;
  • half a kilogram of flour;
  • 10 g of granulated sugar;
  • 20 g fresh yeast;
  • three pinches of salt with herbs;
  • 325 ml of cold mineral water.

Filling

  • 400 g of Dutch cheese;
  • olive oil;
  • optional cheese or feta cheese;
  • oregano;
  • thyme;
  • rosemary.

Step by step recipe

In the cold mineral water dissolve sugar and yeast. Sift flour and combine with salt. Pour into the yeast mixture and stir with a spoon. Pour in the olive oil and knead the dough with your hands for ten minutes. Place it in a cup, tighten with cling film and leave for 30 minutes.

Divide the dough in half. Mash one part with your hands on a baking sheet greased with oil. Grease the dough olive oil. Grind the cheese into small chips. Mix aromatic herbs and sprinkle dough with mixture. Spread the cheese chips evenly on top.

Make the second cake in the same way. Turn on the oven temperature to 200 C. As soon as the appliance warms up enough, send a baking sheet with cakes into it and bake for 20 minutes.

For cooking, you can take ready mix Italian or Provence herbs If the cheese starts to burn on top, and the cake is still damp, cover the pastry with foil and bring to readiness.

Option 5. Flatbread with cheese in the a la pizza oven

This simple recipe, as often happens, "was born" to me completely spontaneously - there was a simple yeast dough from the pie, which had to be urgently disposed of. Greens and leftover cheese were found in the refrigerator, I decided to combine it all, and this is what happened.
In such recipes, cheese with herbs is usually either added directly to the dough, or wrapped inside as a filling, like pies or pasties. I went a little different way and made something on the principle of cheesecakes, putting a little "filling" on top of each cake.

Cut the green onion and wild garlic leaves. Of course, you can take any greens to taste, another time I made such cakes already with onions and dill.

You can grate it or cut it into small cubes, as I did. In this case, it will look beautiful in a tortilla and brown well during baking in the oven.

Ingredients:

  • 300 gr wheat flour
  • 150 ml warm water
  • 150 gr cheese
  • 1 pack of dry yeast 9 gr
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 40 ml vegetable oil

Cooking method

We prepare the dough for the cake as usual the classic way. First, we activate the yeast with sugar and a little water until a fluffy hat is raised. Then we combine them with the remaining water, sugar, salt and flour, knead a homogeneous and smooth dough for about 7 minutes. At the very end, add vegetable oil and cheese, which can be rubbed on a coarse grater or cut into cubes. Leave the dough to rise for 30-40 minutes, then punch it down and shape into a patty (you can do this on a baking sheet or place it in a round baking dish). Let it rest for 20 minutes and bake in a well-heated oven to 190 C for about 30-35 minutes until cooked and golden brown. Bon Appetit.
