Today I decided to cook cauliflower. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of it. But this recipe is cauliflower with chicken My whole family loves it. Recipe simple (as usual, I provided it with step by step Photo) and even a young inexperienced hostess can easily cope with it.

So to prepare cauliflower with chicken, You will need:

Chicken pieces - I barala chicken fillet(1 store pack), but you can cut into pieces of chicken legs, thighs or cook wings;

Cauliflower- 1 head,

vegetable oil for frying,

Garlic - 6-7 cloves.

For marinade:

Salt, pepper (to taste)

Curry - 1 teaspoon

Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon,

Tomato - 1 large (or lecho - 3 tablespoons).

Let's start cooking cauliflower with chicken:

1. Take the chicken fillet (or whatever you have) and cut into small pieces:

2. Add salt, pepper (to taste), curry, lecho to the chicken (or peel the tomato and gently grate it). Mix everything and leave the chicken to marinate for about 1 hour:

3. We disassemble the cauliflower into inflorescences and put it to boil in lightly salted water (we lower it into boiling water and cook for only 4-5 minutes):

5. After the chicken has marinated, set the pan to heat up (pour a little vegetable oil into it). We spread the chicken (together with all the marinade), add the garlic passed through the press (or chopped into small pieces):

6. Add cauliflower, stir and cover. Bring to a boil, then remove the lid and give the liquid from cauliflower with chicken evaporate a little. The chicken will be ready in 20-25 minutes (do not forget to stir occasionally cauliflower with chicken so as not to burn).

Cauliflower with chicken fillet can be served with mashed potatoes or rice.

When I cooked this dish for the first time, to be honest, I didn’t even count on such a result, but the desire to cook an interesting dinner took over - vegetables and dietary meat - what you need - cauliflower with chicken baked in the oven - incredibly tasty and very satisfying, the result is simply incomparable! In addition to the two main ingredients, we will use spicy breading with sesame seeds, garlic and whole grain flour. If you wish, you can make your own breading with spices or your favorite spices. The dish turns out to be very tasty in itself, the only thing we suggest serving at the table is with fresh vegetables. Look.

So, take a small cauliflower, rinse under cool water. In parallel, boil clean water, dip the cabbage into it and leave to boil for a couple of minutes. After the forks, remove from boiling water very carefully so as not to burn your hands. Let the cabbage cool down a bit.




Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, rinse and dry the chicken fillet, cut into medium pieces. Transfer the fillet to the pan, fry for 4-5 minutes, stirring the meat occasionally.




Grease a baking dish and sprinkle with spicy breadcrumbs. By this time, the cabbage will have cooled down, disassemble it into inflorescences. Place the cabbage in a bowl. Our breading already contains spices and salt, so we do not add them. If you use simple breadcrumbs, a number of spices must be poured at your discretion. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.




Lay half-cooked chicken on top of the cabbage. Sprinkle again with breadcrumbs.

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.

Peel the onions, and disassemble the cauliflower into inflorescences, wash these 2 ingredients together with the tomatoes under running water from all sorts of contaminants. Then lay the onion on a cutting board, use a knife to chop the onion into a medium cube with an approximate diameter 1 by 1 centimeter and transfer to a separate plate. Cut each cabbage inflorescence into 2 halves and place in a deep bowl. For tomatoes, cut off the place where the stalk was attached, grind them in a blender to a puree-shaped consistency at high speed and pour the mass into a separate deep bowl. Rinse chicken thighs under running water, dry with paper kitchen towels, if there are small hairs and feathers on the surface of the skin, remove them with a knife. Then transfer the thighs to a deep bowl.

Step 2: fry the chicken.


Turn on the stove to a medium level and put a frying pan with the right amount of vegetable oil on it. Gently lower into the heated fat chicken thighs and fry them on both sides until crispy.
It will take you approximately for 10 minutes. Periodically turn the thighs with a kitchen spatula from one side to the other, for better frying and for the chicken thighs to acquire a beautiful, uniform golden crust.

Step 3: fry the onion.


Once the chicken is browned on all sides, remove it from the chicken with kitchen tongs and place on a plate. Reduce the heat of the stove to the lowest level and toss the chopped onion into the pan. Simmer until translucent and light golden brown. 5 - 6 minutes.

Step 4: Add flour.


When the onion acquires the consistency you need, add the required amount of sifted to the pan. wheat flour. Stir the total mass with a tablespoon until smooth and simmer it 1 - 2 minutes Constantly stirring with a tablespoon so that the flour does not burn and does not stick to the bottom of the pan.

Then add chopped tomatoes in a blender to the pan. Simmer them with onion and flour for 2 - 3 minutes without ceasing to mix the ingredients.

Step 6: Add spices.


After the lapse of 2 - 3 minutes add black to taste ground pepper, salt and red ground pepper. Stir the stewed vegetables with a tablespoon, simmer them together for more 2 - 3 minutes then remove the pan from the stove.

Step 7: put all the stewed ingredients in a cauldron.


Take a large cauldron of any shape, put a mass of stewed vegetables and spices.
Put the fried chicken thighs on top of it, press them a little with kitchen tongs to the bottom of the cauldron.

Step 8: Add water.


Then pour the required amount of clean distilled water into the cauldron. Pour in water in parts so that it covers the chicken and is above its level by 1.5 - 2 centimeters otherwise you risk too much thin sauce and overcooked cabbage.

Step 9: Add cabbage.


Lay an even layer of cauliflower florets on top of the chicken, so that the pieces do not lie too tightly together and cover the cauldron with a lid.

Step 10: Stew Chicken with Cauliflower and Tomatoes.


Turn on the stove to the highest temperature and put a cauldron on it. After the liquid in the container boils, and you hear it from the characteristic gurgling sound inside the cauldron, reduce the temperature of the stove to the lowest level and simmer the chicken with vegetables for 25 minutes. Do not remove the cover! After the required time has elapsed, open the lid slightly and check the readiness of the ingredients with a fork. If its teeth enter the pulp of meat and cabbage with pressure, then you need to bring them to full readiness under a closed lid, 10 – 15 minutes will be quite enough. If the prongs of the fork go in freely, then turn off the stove, cover the cauldron with a lid, let the dish stand for 10 minutes and go ahead, taste.

Chicken stew with cauliflower and tomatoes is served hot, arranged in portions on plates.   • chicken bouillon- 200 ml;
  • cheese - 200 g;

  • salt, spices - to taste.

Cooking

We wash the chicken fillet and wipe it with a paper towel, cut into cubes. Fry the meat in olive oil for 10 minutes. Put in a separate bowl. Wash the cauliflower, cut into small florets and fry until golden brown over low heat. Cut the zucchini and onion into small cubes. Add cabbage to vegetables, salt, pepper. Mix everything well and fry a little. Spread the chicken pieces to the vegetables, pour the broth, bring to a boil and simmer for 25 minutes. Chicken fillet with cauliflower

Ingredients:

  • chicken breasts - 2 pcs.;
  • cauliflower - 400 g;
  • cream (fat content 30%) - 50 ml;
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp. spoons;
  • lemon zest - 1 teaspoon;
  • almond - 50 g;
  • green olives - 5 pcs.;
  • parsley - 1 bunch;
  • salt;
  • pepper.

Cooking

Chicken breast cut into strips, salt and pepper. Season with a tablespoon of oil and lemon zest. Marinate 15 minutes.   • butter - to taste;

500 g fillet;

250 ml cream;

800 g cabbage;

150 g of cheese;

7. Pour the cooked dish cheese sauce.

Cauliflower Chicken in the Oven - Tips and Tricks

So that the chicken fillet does not turn out dry and tough, it is important not to overexpose it in the oven. Half an hour is enough for white meat to reach full readiness.

Cabbage will retain its snow-white color after cooking if you add a teaspoon of sugar to the water.
