Recipe for orange biscuits with filling

Get soft and tender cookies in the form of snails with juicy filling. It literally melts in your mouth.

Cooking:

  1. Rub the soft butter with sugar (50 g), with a fork or in a blender.
  2. Add egg, sour cream, vegetable oil, salt and soda. Mix everything until smooth.
  3. Remove the zest from an orange by rubbing it on a fine grater. Pour half of it into the dough, the rest will go into the filling.
  4. While stirring, add flour. knead soft dough. Roll a ball out of it, wrap it in cling film and leave for half an hour in the refrigerator.
  5. Peel the orange, remove the pits and grind in a blender into a pulp, adding 150 g of sugar, starch and zest. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  6. Divide chilled dough into 2 equal parts. Roll out into two thin rectangles on a floured board.
  7. Put half of the filling on the sheet, trying to distribute it evenly. Roll the sheet into a roll. Repeat the operation with the second half of the dough.
  8. With a sharp knife, cut the rolls into circles about 1 cm thick. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment.

Bake the cookies in the oven at 180°C for 15 minutes, controlling the process so as not to overdry the cookies. The cookies should remain soft and juicy. When cool, dust lightly with powdered sugar using a strainer and serve. You can optionally pour it with melted chocolate, it will also turn out very tasty.

Almond orange cookies

This pastry has an unusual, but very successful combination of flavors. And it doesn't even have an ounce of flour in it.

Ingredients:

  • Almonds - 150 g.
  • Sugar - 120 g.
  • Orange peel - 1 tbsp.
  • Lemon zest - 1 tsp
  • Chicken eggs - 1 pc.
  • Vanilla sugar - 1 sachet.
  • Powdered sugar.

Peel the almonds from the skin, dry in a pan without oil, but do not brown. Grind the nuts into flour with a blender. Add zest, beaten egg, regular sugar and vanilla.

You will get a viscous dough, you need to wrap it in a film and put it in the refrigerator overnight. If time is running out, chill it for 2 hours in the freezer.

This orange cookies with very soft delicious dough, but its most important decoration is a stunning fragrant, juicy stuffing from an orange with sugar and cinnamon, not cloyingly sweet - just right. Very tasty, a little unusual combination. I tried it on my family, wore it to visit for a treat - everyone really liked it!

I share my delights and invite you to try.

Orange Cookie Ingredients:

Dough:

  • 50 g butter
  • 80 g sugar
  • 80 g sour cream (3 tablespoons) - can be replaced with natural yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 300 g flour (or 2 cups or 500 ml)
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder

Filling:

  • half a large orange
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 st. l. starch (for thickness)
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Cooking orange cookies:

We use softened butter. To do this, you can keep it room temperature or put in the microwave in the "Defrost" mode for 30-60 seconds.

Rub the butter with sugar. It can be done by hand with a spoon, you can use a mixer.

Add egg, sour cream, mix.

Then sift the flour, add the baking powder. Start mixing with a spoon or mixer.

The dough is tight, so then we sculpt a bun with our hands. The dough is smooth and plastic. Wrap it in cling film so it doesn't dry out. Place the wrapped dough in the fridge and let the dough rest. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes, during which time we will prepare the filling.

For the filling for this amount of dough, you need half a large orange. Wash the orange, cut off half and cut it into large pieces. We cut together with the peel! We take out the bones, it is better to remove the white partitions on the slices.

Grind orange slices in a blender.

Add sugar, starch, cinnamon, beat the filling in a blender again.

We take the dough out of the refrigerator, roll it into a rectangle (I got a rectangle about 30 × 25 cm). The dough is smooth, does not stick to the rolling pin, rolls out well, so there is no need to add flour. It is very convenient to roll out on a silicone mat.

Put the filling on the dough, level it. At the same time, on one edge of the dough (farthest from you), we leave a strip free from the filling, so that later it would be convenient to roll the roll.

We turn the roll, moving towards the edge of the dough free from the filling. Turn the roll seam side down so that the cookies do not unfold during baking.

With a sharp knife, cut the roll into cookies about 2.5 cm thick. I got 14 pieces.

Put the cookies on a baking sheet, greased with oil, at a small distance from each other.

We put in an oven preheated to 220 degrees, bake for 15-20 minutes.

It is very tasty, soft, very fragrant, moderately sweet, I invite everyone to try it!

By the way, to keep the cookies soft, don't store them outdoors (unless you have to store them, of course). Put in a bread box or cover with a towel.
