This recipe is very simple. One day, my husband and I came home from work and found that, apart from dumplings, we didn’t have any of the products that could go for dinner. But traditionally, I didn’t want to cook dumplings at all, something they have already become boring and strongly resemble student years. And I want to eat. So we decided to roast them.
Cooking:
1. A little olive oil is poured into the pan. We have recently completely switched to olive oil, they say it is useful. But fried is not entirely healthy, maybe olive oil will soften all these negative aspects a little.
2. When the pan is hot, put dumplings in it. Our dumplings are the most common ones with pork. Fry them for five minutes until golden brown. We mix often.
3. We wash the tomatoes, peel the onion from the husk. While the dumplings are frying, chop the onion. We cut it as we want: cubes, rings, half rings. But still, it's probably better to be smaller.
Throw the onion into the pan. Very soon you will smell the delicious smell of fried onions, and you will want to eat even more) Never mind, soon all the suffering will end, and you can safely start eating. Until then, patience...
4. It is known that when you fry dumplings, they become a little tough. To prevent this from happening, you can add tomatoes to the dumplings. Finely chop the tomatoes and also throw them into the pan. The skin may not be removed. Don't forget to stir it all. The tomatoes will juice and moisten our dumplings and they won't be tough, nor will they have as much oil on them as if we were just frying them. First, the dumplings were fried, after adding the tomato they are even stewed a little.
5. You can add a little garlic, salt and your favorite spices for taste. We bring it all to readiness and rather bring it to the table. Husband like this fast food liked it. Recipe for the most extreme case.

Ingredients

Cooking dumplings with tomatoes
- To begin with, we peel the onion from the husk, chop it as finely as we can, and fry in oil until a beautiful golden color, then transfer it to the pan.
- We spread our favorite dumplings to the fried onion, add salt and mix everything.
- Dip tomatoes in boiling water. We will need this in order to easily remove the skin. Next - peel the tomatoes, finely chop and put in dumplings.
- After everything boils, reduce the heat, cover the pan with a lid and continue to simmer the dish for about 20 minutes.
That's all! If you like greens, then when serving, you can decorate the appetizer with fragrant herbs. And by adding 50 g of grated cheese on a medium grater, you will get a new, no less gourmet dish, called "Dumplings with cheese and tomatoes."
How to cook tasty dumplings
You may be surprised, but using the same ingredients as in the recipe above, you can make brand new dumplings with tomatoes - in the oven. The ingredients are the same, only cheese (100 g) is added, but the cooking procedure is different.
- Boil dumplings in salted water.
- We spread our dumplings in the form in which we will bake them.
- Top them with a layer of thinly sliced tomatoes.
- It remains the case for small things: finely rub the cheese and sprinkle the dish with it.
- Preheat the oven to 200 0 C and bake dumplings for about 10 minutes.
- It remains to add greens and dumplings with tomatoes and cheese in the oven are ready. For those who like it spicier, we serve an appetizer to the table with mustard and black pepper.
