Meat, cabbage, rice, tomatoes and free half an hour - that's all you need to satisfyingly and unforgettably tasty feed the whole family by preparing lazy cabbage rolls according to Alla Kovalchuk's recipe. And the folk culinary specialist shared a recipe for fragrant gravy to make your dishes even tastier.

Cooking

Pour rice with water and bring to a boil. Take it off the fire, rinse cold water, pour into a colander and leave to drain. Cut the onion into small cubes, and grate the carrots.

Saute vegetables over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.

Transfer them to a bowl and leave to cool.

Grind the meat in a meat grinder. Separately chop the cabbage and drain the juice.

Mix with minced meat cabbage, rice, vegetables and mix.

Add butter, salt, black ground pepper and finely chopped dill. Stir.

Knead the minced meat with your hands until smooth and beat off. Cover the bowl with minced meat with cling film. Place in refrigerator for 20 minutes.

Pick up 2 tbsp. l. with a hill of minced meat and hands, form cone-shaped cabbage rolls from it. Leave each cabbage roll from one hand to another 5-7 times.

Boil water. On a slotted spoon, dip the cabbage rolls into it so that they are scalded.

Pour some gravy into the bottom of a deep pan. Lay the cabbage rolls on it in dense rows. Pour tomato sauce and cover with foil.

Place in preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes. Then remove the foil and place in the oven for another 5-7 minutes. Serve lazy cabbage rolls with sour cream and fresh herbs.

Gravy

Cut the tomatoes in half and grate - only the skin should remain in your hands. Add to them tomato paste and mix well.

Fry the onions and carrots. Add tomatoes to them and stir. Fry for 2-3 more minutes.

In a dry frying pan, fry the flour, dilute it in water to the state of liquid sour cream and mix with the gravy.

Add salt, pepper, basil and sugar. Simmer everything together for 2-3 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

  • Cabbage - 1 pc.
  • Pork - 250 g
  • Beef - 250 g
  • Round rice - 250 g
  • Onion - 2 pcs.
  • Carrots - 2 pcs.
  • Bulgarian pepper - 2 pcs.
  • Sour cream - 2 tbsp. l.
  • Tomatoes - 6 pcs.
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l.
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Chopped bay leaf - 10 g
  • paprika - to taste
  • Nutmeg - to taste

COOKING METHOD

We clean the head of cabbage from damaged leaves and cut out the stalk. Remove the leaves from the head, dip them in boiling water for 10 minutes.

Separately, boil the rice, after washing it in running water. Pour rice with water so that the water covers it completely by 1 finger. Then bring the rice to a boil and set it aside - so that it drains in a colander.

To prepare minced meat: twist and mix two types of meat, add finely chopped onion (not all) and spices (to taste). Minced meat is mixed with chilled rice, salt, pepper.

For a pillow of vegetables: finely chop the onion and bell pepper, rub carrots. Fry on vegetable oil, add salt. Mix well - a pillow of vegetables is ready.

Grind the tomatoes in a blender, wipe through a sieve to get rid of the seeds. Mix the tomato mixture with sour cream, add salt, pepper, nutmeg taste.

We begin to form cabbage rolls: put a tablespoon of minced meat on a cabbage leaf and carefully wrap it.

In a saucepan with a thick bottom, lay out the mass of fried vegetables (part). Then - a layer of cabbage rolls. Again a mass of fried vegetables and a layer of cabbage rolls. Pour everything with tomato-sour cream sauce.

Bring to a boil. And then leave to stew over low heat - for an hour. In the middle, you can add a piece of butter.

Cabbage lasagna ("Everything will be delicious!")

INGREDIENTS

  • cabbage leaves
  • Turkey fillet - 200 g
  • Chicken fillet - 200 g
  • Hard cheese - 100 g
  • Onion - 2 pcs.
  • Tomatoes - 4 pcs.
  • Carrots - 2 pcs.
  • Bulgarian pepper - 2 pcs.
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Milk - 300 ml
  • Butter - 30 g
  • Flour - 30 g

COOKING METHOD

We prepare cabbage leaves in the same way as for cabbage rolls. They don't have to be whole.

For the Bechamel sauce, in a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter, add the flour and mix. Continuing to heat the mixture, pour in milk in small portions. We stir constantly. Bring the sauce to a boil and simmer over low heat for 5 minutes until thick. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.

Put a few tablespoons of the sauce into a baking dish. Then cabbage leaves, minced meat (chicken and turkey fillet minced in a meat grinder with salt and spices to taste), a layer of vegetables, bechamel sauce. Then another layer cabbage leaves, minced meat, vegetables, chopped tomatoes, bechamel sauce. We repeat the layers.

Top with sauce and sprinkle with cheese.

We send it to the oven, heated to 180-200 degrees for an hour.

refined sunflower oil- 60 ml
Salt - 1 tsp

COOKING METHOD

Pour rice with water and bring to a boil. Remove it from the heat, rinse with cold water, pour into a colander and leave to drain. Cut the onion into small cubes, and grate the carrots.

Saute vegetables over medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Transfer them to a bowl and leave to cool.

We pass the meat through a meat grinder. Separately chop the cabbage and drain the juice.

Mix cabbage, rice, vegetables with minced meat and mix. Add butter, salt, ground black pepper and finely chopped dill. We mix.

Knead the minced meat with your hands until smooth and beat off. We tighten the bowl with minced meat with cling film. We put in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

We collect 2 tbsp. l. with a hill of minced meat and hands, we form cone-shaped cabbage rolls from it.

We boil water. On a slotted spoon, lower the cabbage rolls into it so that they are scalded.

Pour a little gravy into the bottom of a deep baking sheet. We spread the cabbage rolls on it in dense rows. Pour in tomato sauce and cover with foil.

We put in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 15 minutes. Then remove the foil and put in the oven for another 5-7 minutes. Serve lazy cabbage rolls with sour cream and fresh herbs.

INGREDIENTS

Tomatoes - 3 pcs.
Carrot - 1 pc.
Onion - 1 pc.
Flour - 2 tbsp. l.
Water - 100 ml
Tomato paste - 1 tbsp. l.
Sugar - 2 tbsp. l.
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Refined sunflower oil - 2 tbsp. l.
Dried basil - 1/2 tsp

COOKING METHOD

Somehow I got 5 kg. fresh minced meat, I so wanted cabbage rolls, but they don’t eat cabbage at home, they throw it away, I decided to deceive them. I began to look for a recipe for ideal lazy cabbage rolls, because. they didn't always work for me.

And I decided to try to repeat the recipe, I adapted it a little for myself, but the result was excellent.

The main thing is to keep the proportions, then for sure EVERYTHING WILL BE DELICIOUS, so;

We need 600 gr. minced meat, 2 onions, 2 carrots, 50 gr. rice, 200 gr. cabbage, 25 gr. butter, 30 gr. vegetable, salt, pepper, spices to taste.

Rinse rice, bring to a boil and drain in a colander

Cut the onion into 0.5 mm cubes, pour 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil into the pan and add the onion. When it becomes transparent, add grated carrots on a medium grater. Cool down.

Twist the meat in a meat grinder, cabbage too. Drain excess juice from cabbage (I finely chopped cabbage). My stuffing is ready

I chopped the cabbage in parts, finely chopped a piece, put a new one on top and cut both already.

Mixed minced meat and cabbage,

The stuffing set aside and took up the gravy. I fried the onion, cut into cubes, added grated carrots, and also grated 3 tomatoes.

I fried 2 tablespoons of flour in a dry frying pan until a nutty smell appeared, poured flour into a bowl, added 2 tablespoons of water, mixed well. Poured the mixture into the fryer. (the first time I had Maisen sauce, I poured it directly into the frying).

I took about 2.5 tablespoons of minced meat, formed cutlets, throwing them in my hands 5 times, put them on a slotted spoon and scalded them in boiling water.

I poured a little gravy at the bottom of the mold, laid out the cabbage rolls, poured the remaining gravy well,

I covered the cabbage rolls with foil (so that they did not dry out) and baked in the oven at 180 ° for 15 minutes, then removed the foil and baked for another 10 minutes.

I turned the cabbage rolls after removing the foil and holding for an extra 10 minutes, because. I have chopped cabbage and cabbage rolls a little more.

Put on a plate with gravy and enjoy.
