- fresh champignons - 250 gr;
- onion - 2 pcs;
- garlic - 4 cloves;
- vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. l;
- thyme, black pepper - 0.5 tsp each;
- salt - to taste.

Peel potatoes for lean casseroles and set to cook as for mashed potatoes. Salt the water to taste. Cut the peeled onion into small cubes or thin half rings.





Mushrooms washed under cold water. We clean the thin film from the hats, trim the legs slightly. If there are damaged or dirty areas - cut out. We cut the mushrooms into cubes or thin plates.





Heat up vegetable oil in a frying pan. When the oil warms up well, pour the chopped onion into it and sauté until transparent. You can lightly fry the onion, but do not fry until brown.





Put the mushrooms on the onion. Increase the heat, simmer the mushrooms for about 5 minutes until the released liquid evaporates. We make the fire smaller, salt the mushrooms with onions to taste, season ground pepper and thyme. Simmer until mushrooms are done.

But dried mushrooms must be soaked in warm water beforehand, and then boiled. fresh mushrooms also need to pre-boil for 1 hour. And frozen mushrooms are easy to defrost.
