If you want to make the cookies more salty, you can additionally grease them with milk on top and sprinkle with coarse salt. You can sprinkle crackers with seeds or ground nuts.

Ingredients: flour - 2.5 cups, vegetable oil - 100 ml (2 tablespoons for frying), onion (large) - 1 pc., soy sauce - 3 tablespoons, water - as needed, brown sugar - 3 /4 st. l.

Cooking:

Finely chop the onion and then fry it in a pan. When the onion is in a state of semi-cooking, add sugar, let the onion caramelize (stirring constantly), and then immediately pour in the soy sauce. Simmer until done over low heat. You can add a little water (1-2 tablespoons) if the onion does not want to reach the condition in any way.

Mix the sifted flour, butter and cooked onions in a large bowl. Grind with your hands so that there are no lumps and start kneading the dough, adding enough water to make a good smooth dough.

Roll out the dough, you can immediately on baking paper and cut into any shape. Bake at a temperature of 200C for 10 - 20 minutes. The baking time depends on the thickness of the cookies. The thinner, the faster it will be ready.

Almond crackers with honey sauce

Ingredients: almond flour - 1 1/4 cups, poppy seeds - 1 tbsp. l., olive oil - 1 tbsp. l., salt - 1/4 tsp., protein - 1 pc., For the sauce: cottage cheese (fat-free) - 3/4 cup., honey - 1/4 cup

Cooking:

Preheat oven to 170C. Mix flour, poppy seeds, butter, salt and lightly beaten egg white and knead the dough. Then lay it on a baking sheet and roll it into a 20x30 cm rectangle. Using a knife, cut the rectangle into 12 5x10 cm crackers.

Place the crackers in the oven and bake until golden brown, about 12 to 14 minutes. Let cool.

Sauce preparation: whip the curd into food processor until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Spread it 1 tbsp. l. on each cracker and then pour 1 tsp. honey and serve.

Ingredients: flour - 250 g, sugar - 40 g, condensed milk - 4 tbsp. l., cream (sour cream) - 3 tbsp. l., salt - to taste

Cooking:

The dough for sweet crackers is kneaded similarly to salty (see the first recipe for "salted crackers (classic). Rub cold butter with sugar and flour, add cream and condensed milk to the dough.

Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for about an hour before rolling out. French crackers are baked on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil for 15 minutes at a temperature of 180C.
