Next we will grind the dried berries with sugar. It's better to do this in portions. To do this, place part of the berry in a suitable sized container (glass, plastic or enamel). Sprinkle some of the sugar on top of the berries.


We arm ourselves with a wooden masher and begin to mash/grind the berries with sugar. Then add a new portion of berries and sugar and grind again.
