Personally, I add fresh onions, or pickle them, but there is another cooking option with frying onions. That is, the onion must be fried in vegetable oil and spread the fried onion on top of the chicken meat. But, as for me, in this recipe, this option is not appropriate. Chicken fillet is dietary meat, you should not make it more satisfying.

Pickled onion gives the meat a pleasant sourness, and pineapple, a certain sweet note.

The next step is canned pineapples, you can, of course, cook with fresh pineapple, but it is more convenient and faster for me to use the canned product, it is both peeled and chopped.
