How to make homemade puff pastry pizza

On a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil, lay out layers of ready-made puff pastry, I use puff yeast for pizza (you can put baking paper and grease it). Lubricate the pizza dough with a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise in a thin layer.

Finely chop the onion into half rings, spread evenly on the puff pastry.

Cut the cucumbers, lay out the next layer.

Cut the meat slices, lay it on the cucumbers.

Cut fresh tomatoes into thin slices, lay out and add a little salt.

Grate hard cheese on top of the quick pizza.

First prepare the pizza sauce. By the way, this sauce can be safely stored in the refrigerator for a month. So, having cooked several servings in advance, you can stock up on tomato sauce for several pizzas in advance.

So, put canned tomatoes in a saucepan and mash them with a fork, add salt to taste, ground white pepper, herbs, olive oil.


Stir the contents of the saucepan, gradually evaporating the liquid until the consistency of the sauce is sufficient (not very liquid, like water; even lumps of tomatoes are acceptable).


Cooking pizza:

Unroll the dough and place it on a baking sheet previously greased with vegetable oil (or lined with baking parchment).


Cut all the components of the filling: tomatoes and sweet peppers into thin slices, ham into plates, remove the pits from the olives. Cut the mozzarella or tear it into slices with your hands, grate the parmesan on a fine grater.

It is undesirable to defrost the dough in the microwave, otherwise it will fall off in the oven, and the layers will stick together.

When choosing between dough packed in layers or in a roll, it is better to give preference to the first option. Smooth rectangles are easier to separate from each other.

How to make pizza?

Ingredients:

  • 500 gr. yeast puff pastry,
  • 100 gr. sausages,
  • 100 gr. cheese,
  • 1 tomato
  • 1/2 can olives, pitted
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise,
  • 2 tbsp ketchup,
  • 1 tsp dried basil,
  • 2 tbsp flour.

Cooking:

1. Defrost and roll out the dough. Leave on floured parchment paper.

2. In the meantime, cut the sausage and tomato into thin slices. Cut olives in half. Grate the cheese.

2. Mix mayonnaise and ketchup.

3. Roll out the risen dough again.

Ingredients:

  • 500 gr of dough
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp Sahara,
  • 2 tbsp olive oil,
  • 200 gr mozzarella,
  • 1 tsp dried basil,
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano,
  • 1 sprig of fresh basil,
  • salt, pepper - to taste.

1. Defrost and roll out the dough.

2. Make a cross cut on 2 tomatoes. Place in boiling water cut side down for 1 minute. Pull the tip of the skin and remove it.

3. Cut peeled tomatoes and garlic. Simmer in olive oil. Add dried basil, sugar, salt and pepper.

4. Rub the resulting sauce through a sieve. Spread dough on them.

5. Cut the mozzarella and the remaining tomato into slices. Pour over the sauce.

6. Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes at 180 degrees.

7. Garnish the finished pizza with fresh basil leaves.

While the dough is defrosting prepare the pizza topping: chop the sausage, tomatoes, olives, grate the cheese. I used boiled smoked sausage and Suluguni cheese, but you can add everything that you have at hand to the pizza: crumble any sausage, sausages, yesterday's cutlets on the surface, in general, improvise. You can just ketchup with cheese and Italian herbs - it will be delicious.
Roll out the dough
