Let's prepare the following set of products:
- 300 or 350 gr. sausage cheese,

It is better to use chilled cheese, it then grates easier. Therefore, if you just purchased the cheese, keep it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. You can put it in the freezer for a few minutes.

And boiled-smoked sausages are closer to raw smoked sausages in their cooking method. Cooked-smoked sausage is pre-smoked, then boiled, smoked again and dried. Semi-smoked sausages usually have more moisture (50-60%). Whereas in boiled smoked there should be 38-43% moisture. The most famous representatives of semi-smoked sausages are Krakow, Tallinn, Poltava.

And the most popular member of the boiled-smoked sausage team is Cervelat. Yes, so popular that it has practically changed the name of this type of sausage. Many manufacturers prefer to call their products not boiled-smoked sausage, but cervelat such and such, for example, Kremlin or Moscow.

Well, we digress. Both boiled and smoked sausage and half-smoked sausage are suitable for our salad. Take what you have, what you can afford, and what you like best. At least Krakow, at least Servelat. You can also have an inexpensive one, made not according to GOST, but according to TU.

We've dealt with the sausage, now it's cheese. Almost any cheese is suitable for this dish, except for the hardest (Parmesan, Sovetsky, Gorny, etc.) and the softest (Brynza, Ossetian, Mozzarella, etc.). Take Russian, Dutch or, as a budget option, processed smoked sausage, you won’t go wrong.
