Juice from 2 oranges recipe. Recipes for making orange juice. Juice from frozen oranges “Morozko”

Friends, hello everyone!
I suggest preparing three liters of orange juice from two oranges and one lemon. The taste of this juice is absolutely identical to 100% store-bought juice. The drink turns out very tasty, aromatic and, most importantly, you can be sure that it is natural. The juice drink is prepared very simply and easily, using a minimum of ingredients. It will perfectly quench your thirst in the heat; you can serve it in a beautiful jug on a holiday table or take it with you on a trip. At the same time, three liters of juice will cost you practically nothing compared to the store-bought equivalent.
I already had recipes for alcoholic liqueurs. For example, on viburnum. Now it's the turn of soft drinks. I found this recipe on the Internet. I really liked it and decided to try it. I was pleased with the result. Now I am sharing the recipe with you.
So... let's get started. The photo shows the products you will need to make an orange drink. Only three liters of water are missing.

First, let's prepare the fruit. Wash the oranges and lemon well. This must be done with special care; you can even rub each fruit a little with a stiff brush. For this recipe we need not only the pulp but also the zest, so we need to be absolutely sure that all chemical films from the surface of the fruit are washed off.
Transfer the washed fruits to a deep bowl. For me it's just a small saucepan.

Pour boiling water from the kettle over the oranges and lemon. Let it stand for 3-4 minutes. During this time, all the bitterness from the fruit peel should disappear.
There is another way to remove bitterness from citrus zest. To do this, oranges and lemon are placed in the freezer for several hours.

Cut the oranges into large pieces. Be sure to remove all the seeds. They also give off bitterness. Place the fruit in the blender chopper.
I use a blender to make juice. It is very convenient for small volumes. You can also grind fruits in a meat grinder.

Grind the oranges along with the zest until pureed.

We also cut the lemons into large pieces, carefully remove all the seeds and place them in a blender chopper.

Grind the lemons with zest until pureed.

Transfer the oranges and lemon into a three-liter jar and mix everything well.

Boil three liters of water in a large saucepan. Add one glass of granulated sugar. Bring the water to a boil again and turn off the heat.
Cool the resulting syrup to a temperature of 20-30 degrees.
Pour the finished syrup into a three-liter jar. Mix everything well.
Cover the jar with a lid or gauze and let the drink brew for 5-6 hours at room temperature.

Strain the juice through several layers of gauze. Do not throw away the remaining cake; it can be used to make pies or compotes. There are still enough aromatic substances left there. It’s very tasty to add such leftovers to manna.

Pour the juice into a glass container. I do not recommend using plastic bottles. The acid in the product can react with the plastic, which is not good for our health.
Orange juice from two oranges and one lemon is ready. Bon appetit.

I advise everyone to make this orange juice drink. Both children and adults will appreciate it. The similarity with the store one is almost 100 percent. But here you don’t have to be afraid to use it in large quantities. The drink is not only tasty, but also very healthy. It is rich in vitamins and microelements, especially vitamin C, which the body really needs in winter.
In addition to the benefits and taste, this drink turns out to be very affordable. Let's count: two oranges 10 rubles, lemon 5 rubles, sugar 10 rubles. Total 25 rubles. Three liters of orange juice in a store costs at least 100 rubles. The resulting savings are 75 rubles. At the same time, preparing a homemade drink is very simple and easy.
And if you want something stronger, I have a recipe for cherry liqueur. It also turns out to be very inexpensive.
* I indicated the preparation time without taking into account the infusion of the drink.
Good luck to everyone and new culinary discoveries!

One orange makes 2 liters of delicious drink

Ingredients:

  • Large orange - 1 piece,
  • Water (boiled and cooled) - 2 liters (I have 1.5 liters),
  • Citric acid - 0.5 teaspoons,
  • Granulated sugar - 1 glass.

How to make 2 liters of juice from one orange:

First, you should rinse the orange very thoroughly; I used laundry soap and a brush for this, although you can also use baking soda. All this is done due to the fact that we will use the whole orange with peel and pulp.

Then the orange needs to be scalded and left in boiling water for 3 minutes, during which time most of the bitterness should disappear. Next, we wrap the citrus in cling film or place it in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer for 3 - 4 hours, but my orange lay in the freezer all night, it didn’t make it any worse. During this time, the orange will freeze and any remaining bitterness will disappear.

After freezing, you should remove the orange from the freezer and grind it, everywhere they advise grinding the orange with a blender, but I honestly admit that my blender couldn’t cope with this job, and I felt sorry for it, it was given as a birthday present, after all, it’s a memory. And so I just grated the orange on a coarse grater, although you can also grind the fruit using a meat grinder with a coarse grid, after first cutting it into several pieces.

Well, so, mix the crushed orange with granulated sugar and pour half a liter of boiled cold water. Then cover the container with the orange with a lid and leave to infuse for 10 minutes. But this time is indicated in the recipe; as always, I deviate from it. I immediately mixed sugar with citric acid and then sent the mixture to the orange, poured it with water and left it to steep for one hour. Then she added the remaining water and did not strain the mixture, as indicated in the classic version. So I left the mixture to infuse for another half hour. Now I strained it through a fine sieve and poured it into a bottle.

It seemed to me that two liters would yield thin juice, but I was wrong, the juice with my one and a half liters turned out to be very rich, so I had to dilute it a little more.

The chilled juice was drunk with a bang in a matter of minutes! So not all the stories, as I thought were not true, turn out to be very “tasty truth”! So 4 oranges and 8 or 9 liters of juice, or rather orange nectar, is a reality.

This invigorating and thirst-quenching juice can be an excellent substitute for store-bought drinks, be sure to try it, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

And finally, a few tips that I will definitely use when I prepare my next batch of juice. I would replace the citric acid with half a real lemon, which can also be frozen. I would also add ½ grapefruit, which would give the juice even more sophistication. I believe that such a drink can be considered natural, of course, with the exception of sugar and citric acid, although we have already become accustomed to them, and they have long been considered natural ingredients for us.

Have a nice summer, drink only healthy and tasty drinks!

In winter, no housewife will deny herself the pleasure of pampering her household with a light drink made from oranges. 2000 years ago, a hybrid of pomelo and tangerine was brought to our country by Portuguese sailors. Since then, enterprising housewives quickly found ways to organically combine the taste qualities of the fruit, which is capricious to its external environment, in the preparation of not only gourmet, but also simple dishes and drinks. In order to prepare orange juice, it is recommended to choose fruits according to personal taste preferences.

Small citrus fruits are ideal for making juice. You can use Moroccan - this is a variety of heavy and juicy fruit with a thin peel. They taste sweet and are resistant to damage and temperature changes. In appearance they are very similar to the Valencia variety; they differ from ordinary oranges in the complete absence of seeds. They have a distinct bright smell, an atypical reddish color, and when lightly pressed, the skin of the fruit springs slightly. For clogging, choose elastic fruits of a uniform color without visible damage.
