How to cook shrimp skewers, baked in the oven

1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment and lightly grease with vegetable oil. Soak wooden skewers in warm water for 30 minutes.

2. Thaw the shrimp. If they are unpeeled, remove the heads and entrails.

3. Cut the lemons into slices along with the skin. Try not to make them too thin; the slices should be thick enough to fit on a skewer.

Step 3: fry and thread the shrimp onto skewers.

Place the frying pan on heat and add 2 tbsp olive oil. Then pull the shrimp out of the bowl with the marinade by the tail, remove the excess marinade from them with the blunt side of a knife and fry over medium heat until cooked. It is approximately 3-4 minutes on each side. When ready, use kitchen tongs to carefully pick up the shrimp from the pan and thread it onto a skewer. On average, one 30 cm long skewer fits 3 medium shrimp. The skewer should go through the tail and front of the shrimp body. Place the skewers with fried shrimp on a serving platter. Lightly sprinkle freshly ground black pepper on top.
