Cooking algorithm:

  1. At the first stage, you need to boil chicken eggs and rice. Rinse the cereal, bring water (1 liter) to a boil, add washed rice, salt, stir, cook until tender. Secret: if you add a little lemon juice at the end of cooking the cereal, it will acquire a beautiful snow-white color and slight sourness.
  2. The cooking process is 20 minutes (with constant stirring). Place in a fine-mesh colander, rinse, and cool to room temperature.

  • Apple (sweet and sour) – 1 pc.
  • Salt.

Cooking algorithm:

  1. Eggs will require the most time for cooking - they need to be boiled with salt in the water for 10 minutes, cooled, and peeled. Separate the whites and yolks from each other by cutting them into different containers.

So, I accidentally found in the newspaper a recipe for a salad of crab sticks with garlic, cheese and fresh cucumber, but without the annoying corn. I just thought - why do I so rarely prepare salads on weekdays, why not prepare something delicious just for dinner? Moreover, the recipe for this salad seemed very simple to me. Having thought through the available brains, I suggested what this salad, which contains boiled eggs, fresh cucumber, crab sticks, cheese and garlic, might taste like? The presence of garlic was especially disconcerting. But then I remembered that I had already tried a similar combination of products in croutons with garlic, eggs, cucumbers, mayonnaise and sausage. I like the taste of this dish, so I decided to make a salad.

Making it is a pleasure: you don’t have to boil anything in advance. Only the eggs are boiled, which is quick. Then I simply cut all the products - cucumber, eggs, cheese and crab sticks - into small cubes. I don’t think the question about cutting is important - here, as your heart desires, feel free to cut it - even into strips, even into circles. The main thing is to chop the garlic, grate it or squeeze it through a garlic press.

As for cheese - which one to take - you definitely need hard cheese. You can use any one whose taste you are more accustomed to. I really love Slavia mozzarella cheese, that’s why I chose it. When all the ingredients are cut, simply pour mayonnaise over the salad to taste and mix. The dish turns out to be spicy, aromatic and “cheerful in color”. My family really liked the taste of the salad.

The salad with crab sticks and cheese turns out to be quite nutritious and satisfying; you can’t eat too much of it, and you’ll get full quickly. What to serve the salad with - yes, just with bread, or with any side dish if you really want to eat it.
