You will need:

  • Meat – 1 kg (pork neck)
  • Garlic – a few cloves
  • Carrots – 1 pc. (small or half medium)
  • Paprika – 0.5 tsp. (dry, seasoning)

  • Honey – 1 tsp. (any: natural or artificial)
  • Mustard – 1 tsp. (French or the most common)

  • Carrots – half a small carrot
  • Garlic – 4 cloves
  • Salt – 0.5 tbsp.

Place the washed and dried turkey breast in a saline solution (0.5 liter - 50 g of salt) so that it is completely immersed in water. Place the container with the breast in the refrigerator overnight.


Once the allotted time has passed, prepare all the ingredients needed for the second stage - salted turkey breast and your favorite spices. The set of spices can be different and vary according to your taste.


Combine all the necessary spices, soy sauce and olive oil in a small bowl and mix until smooth. You can do this with a mortar.


Remove the salted turkey breast from the brine and dry thoroughly using paper towels. Then, using a sharp knife, make cuts 1-2 cm deep in the breast, and place slices of garlic in them.


Fold a piece of foil into several layers and place the stuffed turkey breast on it. Coat the meat on all sides with the prepared marinade paste.

Ingredients:

  • water – 1 l;
  • garlic – 4 cloves;
  • pepper mixture;
  • Red pepper;
  • sweet paprika – 2 teaspoons;
  • coriander beans;
  • basil – 1 teaspoon;
  • oregano – 1 teaspoon;
  • “Russian” – 1 teaspoon;
  • vegetable oil – 60 g;
  • salt – 120 g.

Preparation

Wash half of the breast (without the bone, of course) and use a knife to separate the film, fat, veins and everything that should not be in the boiled pork. Then the poultry meat (in order for it to be salted and juicy) must be kept in salt brine for about 3 hours. This means pour water into a suitable container and add salt. Remember to mix thoroughly so that not a single crystal or sediment of salt remains at the bottom, then lower the breast there. If the meat is not completely covered, add water. During salting, turn the meat several times. Then, after removing the breast from the salt water, you need to wash it and wrap it in a towel to dry.

Meanwhile, cut the garlic into long slices for stuffing. Combine the remaining ingredients and mix well. For the next step, you will need a long knife no more than 2 cm wide; use it to make a deep puncture, but not perpendicular to the piece of meat, but rather along it, even at an angle, and do not pull it out. Soak the garlic in a mixture of spices and oil, place it on a knife and push it with your finger into the depths of the breast; you can use improvised means. Thus, put a few cloves of garlic into each puncture. Now coat the breast well with the marinade, if it’s not enough, don’t be lazy, better make more, then wrap in film and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Upon returning from the refrigerator, remove the meat from the film and just let it lie on the kitchen counter for about an hour. The meat must be wrapped well in foil, no air should get inside, make sure there is not a single crack on all sides. Then send the future boiled pork to a preheated oven at 250 degrees, and immediately reduce the temperature to 200 and wait 35-40 minutes. Now unwrap the foil, increase the temperature to 250 and cook for 10 minutes.

Homemade turkey pork in a slow cooker

Ingredients:

  • half a turkey breast – 1.2-1.5 kg;
  • water – 1 l;
  • carrot – 1 pc.;
  • garlic – 4 cloves;
  • pepper mixture;
  • Red pepper;
  • sweet paprika – 2 teaspoons;
  • coriander beans;
  • – 1 teaspoon;
  • turmeric – ½ teaspoon;
  • mustard beans – 1 teaspoon;
  • dried garlic – ½ teaspoon;
  • olive oil – 60 g;
  • salt – 60 g.

Preparation

Rinse the breast well, get rid of fat, veins and film, if any. Dilute the salt in a liter of water, stirring well without leaving a salt residue, then pour this water over the meat so that it covers it completely. In this way, the turkey is salted for about a day. Then rinse and dry the turkey.

In order to stuff the future boiled pork, cut the garlic into slices lengthwise, and the carrots into long slices of 3-4 cm. Combine the remaining ingredients and mix very well. The knife needs to be long and not wide, no more than 2 cm in width, use it to make a puncture along the chest, of course it will be at an angle, but the point is that the carrots and garlic are, like in a roll, closer to the middle. And without pulling out the knife, dip the carrots and garlic in the spices and push them until the very end of the puncture. Then rub the already stuffed meat with the mixture you made and put it in a baking sleeve, for 3-4 hours the breast will marinate right in it.

Place the meat in the sleeve with the perforated strip up in the multicooker and turn on the “Baking” mode for 1 hour. And 10 minutes before the final, carefully cut the sleeve and turn over the almost finished boiled pork.

1. Prepare brine: 4 tbsp. salt per liter of water. Soak the meat in brine for 2-3 hours.
2. Drain the brine, rinse the meat, and dry.
3. Cut the garlic into long sticks. Using a thin knife, stuff the meat with garlic.
4. Mix dry seasonings (black pepper, paprika, coriander seeds, basil, oregano, red pepper on the tip of a knife). Add vegetable oil, mustard. You should get a thick mass.
5. Coat the meat on all sides with the resulting paste, put it in a bowl with a lid (or in a bag) and put it in the refrigerator for about a day (I left it for only 12 hours).


6. Then place the meat on a dry baking sheet, preheat the oven to 220 degrees, put the baking sheet in the oven for 35 minutes. Do not open the oven, leave the meat in the oven until it cools completely. During this time, the meat will have time to cook and remain juicy.


Maybe it depends on the oven, but to keep the meat juicy, you don’t need to increase the cooking time any further.

***I was afraid that baking without a bag/foil would make the meat dry..But this did not happen...It was due to complete cooling in the oven that the moisture remained!!!

As you probably know, boiled pork is a baked piece of pork neck or any other soft part of the pork carcass. As a rule, such boiled pork turns out juicy only when the piece of meat contains a lot of fatty layers. What should someone do who doesn’t want to put too much strain on their body after fasting? We present to you our step-by-step recipe for turkey roast for Easter, which will also be useful for other holiday celebrations or feasts throughout the year!

1. Despite the fact that the cooking time for turkey pork is approximately 1.5 days, your labor costs for the process itself will be minimal! Most of these hours will be spent brining and marinating, and preparing the turkey should not take more than 30-40 minutes. The first step is salting the meat. Since the turkey loin is quite large, rubbing salt on the surface of the meat will not be effective. The middle will remain unsalted and will not have a balanced taste. It’s better to make a saturated brine from salt and water and put the fillet in it for 2-3 hours. Fill the turkey completely with brine; if necessary, add liquid without additional salt.


2. While the turkey is in the brine, you need to prepare the marinade. The marinade is prepared on the basis of vegetable oil (olive, sunflower, corn), soy sauce, and hot mustard.


3. Enrich the marinade with spices - paprika, coriander, red pepper, Provençal herbs. Try to prepare the marinade as a paste, as it will need to be spread on top of a piece of turkey. Adjust the amount of liquid or dry marinade ingredients as needed to achieve the desired consistency. Mix the marinade well.


4. After 2-3 hours, the turkey fillet has already been salted properly, so we remove it from the pan with brine and carefully blot it to remove any remaining liquid. We make deep slits in the thickness of the meat piece and stuff it with thin slices of garlic. We do not recommend large/thick pieces of garlic for stuffing, since the baking time for turkey in the oven is much shorter than for pork, and in this case the garlic will still remain quite “raw” against the backdrop of fully cooked meat.


5. It is also advisable to tie the turkey with culinary thread and give the piece of meat a more rounded shape, convenient for cutting when serving.


6. Brush the turkey on all sides with the spicy marinade. Leave in the refrigerator overnight (or up to a day) so that all the spicy ingredients are absorbed into the fillet as best as possible.


7. Once the turkey is marinated, we begin the baking process. First, turn on the oven to the highest temperature you have. It can be either 220 or 250 degrees, it doesn’t matter. While the oven is heating up, place the meat on a baking sheet or a suitable flat pan lined with foil. We do not cover or pack anything on top.


When the oven reaches the required maximum, place the turkey inside the oven, close the door and immediately reduce the temperature to 200 degrees. From now on, set the timer for 30 minutes. When it signals the end of baking, turn off the oven, but do not take out the boiled pork! Cover the top with a sheet of foil to prevent it from drying out. Allow the turkey to gradually cook through the delicate temperatures of a cooling oven. We also do not open the oven door, maintaining the temperature completely. But when the oven has cooled down, after about 4-5 hours, you can remove the turkey pork and cook it for the holiday!

Turkey pork baked in the oven

Required ingredients:

  • turkey fillet – 800 gr.;
  • garlic – 2-3 cloves;
  • water – 1 tbsp.;
  • salt – 1 tbsp;
  • paprika – 0.5 tsp;
  • olive oil – 1 tbsp;
  • sugar – 0.5 tbsp.

Cooking process:

Dissolve sugar and salt in a glass of water. Place the washed turkey meat in a bowl and cover with the solution. Cover with a flat plate and press down with a weight. Leave the meat in the water for 2 hours.

Peel the garlic and then pass through a meat grinder. Add paprika and olive oil to the garlic. Stir. Remove the meat from the water. Remove excess moisture from meat using paper towels. Then tie the meat with kitchen string or twine, giving the meat a round shape.

Rub the meat with the prepared marinade on all sides. Place the turkey fillet on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Bake the boiled pork for 25 minutes without turning down the heat. Then turn off the oven and leave the boiled pork in the oven for 2 hours so that it cools completely.

Remove the cooking string from the meat and cut into thin pieces.

Turkey boiled pork with soy sauce in the oven

Required ingredients:

  • turkey fillet – 1 kg;
  • garlic – 2 cloves;
  • mustard – 2 tbsp;
  • soy sauce – 1 tbsp;
  • vegetable oil – 2 tbsp;
  • salt – 2 tbsp;
  • water – 1 l;
  • pepper - to taste;
  • spices - to taste.

Cooking process:

Wash the turkey fillet well. Dissolve salt in water. Pour brine over turkey meat and refrigerate overnight.

Then remove the meat and pat it dry with a paper towel. Make slits in the meat and insert chopped garlic. In a bowl, mix mustard, soy sauce and vegetable oil. Coat the turkey fillet with the mixture.

Then sprinkle the meat with pepper and spices to your liking. Wrap the meat in foil and place in the oven. Bake turkey pork in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 30 minutes. Five minutes before it’s ready, unwrap the foil so that the boiled pork gets a golden brown crust.

Cool the boiled pork, then slice and serve.

Baked turkey fillet in the oven

Required ingredients:

  • turkey fillet – 1.5 kg;
  • vegetable oil – 50 ml;
  • water – 1 l;
  • salt – 4 tbsp;
  • mustard – 1 tsp;
  • garlic – 3 cloves;
  • dried oregano - to taste;
  • dried basil - to taste;
  • red and black pepper - to taste;
  • paprika - to taste;
  • coriander - to taste.

Cooking process:

Dissolve the salt completely in water. Place the meat in brine and leave for three hours. Then remove the meat from the brine and rinse under running water. Pat the fillets dry with a paper towel. Peel the garlic and then cut into thin strips. Make deep cuts in the meat with a sharp knife. Place garlic into the cuts made. Mix all the spices and seasonings in a bowl. Add mustard and vegetable oil to the spices. Stir. Brush this mixture onto turkey fillets.

Place the meat in the refrigerator for a day, after wrapping it in cling film. Place the marinated meat on a baking sheet and place in the oven.

Bake boiled pork at 220 degrees for 30 minutes.

Like any boiled pork, it is cooked in the oven. I bake it in foil. How exactly, you will learn from my detailed step-by-step recipe for turkey pork.

Ingredients:


- turkey steak - 1 pc. (large, about 1.5 kg),
- carrots - 1 pc.,
- garlic - 3 cloves,
- vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. spoons,
- baking spices - to taste,
- salt - to taste.

How to cook with photos step by step




1. To prepare boiled pork, take a turkey steak. Carefully remove the bone. Be careful when removing bone. Do not damage the skin of the steak. It must be whole. Do not accidentally pierce it with a knife. Using tweezers, remove the remaining feathers and film from the skin. Rinse the meat under running water and dry.




2. Turn the piece of meat skin side down. Rub with salt and spices. To prepare boiled pork, you can take any set of spices. Please note that some kits contain salt. There is no salt in my spice set. I separately rubbed the meat with salt and then with spices.




3. Peel the carrots and cut into cubes. Cut the garlic into slices.







4. Using a knife, make punctures in the pulp and insert pieces of carrots and garlic into these punctures. Do not cut through the skin of the turkey. It is very important that it remains intact. We only pierce the flesh and insert a carrot or garlic into each hole.





5. Roll up the turkey steak. The skin will help make your roll more dense. While stretching the skin, roll the meat tightly into a roll. Tie with thread. Fasten the edges of the thread tightly so that they do not come undone during baking. I tried using wooden toothpicks instead of thread. The experiment was not a success. The roll unfolds.





6. Measure a sheet of food foil so that it can be folded in half and completely cover the baking dish. Fold the foil in half and line the bottom of the baking dish along with the sides. Place our boiled pork preparation on the foil. Pour vegetable oil over the boiled pork.







7. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Bake the turkey boiled pork in the oven for 2 hours at 200 degrees. During this time, remove the boiled pork from the oven several times. Pour over the resulting meat juices and return to the oven. This will allow a golden, crispy crust to form. In this case, the meat will not be dry. Everything will bake perfectly.





Now our boiled pork is ready. Let it cool completely. Ideally, the boiled pork should be refrigerated for 12 hours so that the rolled roll will set and it will cut well. Even if you don’t have the strength to wait, you can cut the boiled pork right away. The meat turns out tasty, tender, aromatic. Garlic gives a meat dish a complete taste. As an experiment, you can use prunes or dried apricots to stuff boiled pork. Baked pork will have a sweeter taste. Many people love meat dishes using dried fruits.
