Cakes for Valentine's Day can have absolutely any shape. We decided to make a round dessert. To do this, one of the chocolate cakes is placed on a cake pan and greased with butter cream. Then lay out the second and third biscuits in the same way.

Decorating the cake

Preheat oven to 175 – 180 degrees Celsius. Add baking powder and salt to a deep bowl with sifted wheat flour, mix the ingredients with a whisk until smooth and set the container with the flour mixture aside.
Pour cocoa powder and food coloring into a small bowl and stir with a tablespoon until smooth. Then beat into it the required number of chicken eggs without shells and pour in the aromatic vanilla extract. Stir the mixture again with a spoon until smooth and free of lumps and set aside.
Place the softened butter in a clean deep bowl, add the required amount of granulated sugar to it and place the container under the blade of the food processor, which is used for kneading the dough. Beat the mixture for 10 – 12 minutes, at high speed until the sugar grains are completely dissolved and fluffy. Then add half of the flour mixture to the whipped products, without ceasing to mix the ingredients with a mixer at medium speed.
After 2 – 3 minutes add kefir there and beat the thickening dough for at least 15 minutes at a strong level. Then turn off the mixer and add 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of table vinegar into a bowl with the semi-liquid mass. Add a mixture of cocoa powder, dye, eggs and continue kneading.
Now add the remaining flour mixture into the thick mass and mix the dough at medium speed until you are sure that it is homogeneous and without flour lumps, this process will take you approximately 5 - 7 minutes.

Step 2: bake the cakes.


Take 2 heart-shaped baking dishes and grease the containers with a small amount of softened butter, 2 tablespoons is enough for each form. Pour the dough into containers in equal quantities. Make sure that your oven is preheated to the desired temperature before placing the dough pans in it. Bake the cakes for 30 – 35 minutes. Check the readiness of the dough with a wooden skewer. Insert it into the middle of the cake, if it is dry, then the base for the cake is ready, if the end of the wooden stick is wet, then let the cakes reach full readiness in the oven. 7 – 10 minutes.
After the required time has passed, remove the pans from the oven, helping yourself with the baked cakes with a kitchen towel, and place them on a metal rack. Once they have cooled, run the tip of a knife between the sides of the pans and the side of the finished cakes, this will loosen any stuck dough from the sides of the pans. Using a spatula, remove the cakes from the pans, place them on a metal rack and let cool completely to room temperature.

Step 3: prepare the cream.


Place the required amount of white chocolate on a cutting board, chop it into small pieces with a knife and place it in a deep saucepan with a thick bottom. Pour in 25% fat cream and place the container on the stove, turned on to medium level. Bring the mixture to a boil and the chocolate is completely dissolved, this will take no more than 2 – 2.5 minutes and immediately remove the saucepan from the stove. Set it aside, allowing the liquid to cool to room temperature.
Then pour it into a deep bowl, pour it in 1 or 2 tablespoons of rum and start beating the mixture with a mixer, turning on the kitchen appliance at medium speed. After 30 – 40 seconds While stirring vigorously, begin adding powdered sugar into the liquid mass. Proceed slowly, add it in parts, without ceasing to beat the cream with a mixer. The amount of powder depends on the desired thickness that you want to give to the cream. When the mixture reaches a uniform velvety texture, stop the beating process and, using scissors, cut out a heart from cardboard to the size of the baked cakes.

Step 4: form the cake.


Lay down 1 from the cooled cakes onto a cardboard base and using a tablespoon, apply a generous portion of cream to its surface, not forgetting that the cream should remain to completely lubricate the cake.
Carefully place the second cake layer on top of the cream. Lightly press it down with the palms of your hands, don’t be too zealous, just compact the base a little, a little cream will flow out on the sides, but it’s not a problem.
Place all the remaining cream on the second cake layer and spread it with a knife over the entire surface of the almost finished cake, not forgetting the sides of the culinary masterpiece. The cake is ready, place it on 30 – 40 minutes in the refrigerator for the cream to harden, and during this time decide how to decorate it.

Step 5: decorate the cake.


You can decorate your product the way you like best; this recipe uses ready-made glaze, which is sold in stores and supermarkets, and to use it, you just need to heat it in the microwave for 3 – 5 minutes or melt by dipping the bags in boiling water for 10 minutes. You can also prepare icing or any other decorations for the cake yourself, it all depends on your desire.   • sugar - 100 g;
  • baking powder - 5 g;

  • starch - 10 g.

For cream:

  • heavy cream - 400 ml;
  • cherry - 200 g;
  • powdered sugar - 100 g;
  • gelatin - 10 g;
  • cottage cheese - 200 g;
  • dark chocolate - 1 bar;
  • white chocolate.

Preparation:

  • Beat the eggs into a fluffy foam. Add sugar in portions, continuing to beat until a fluffy, dense mass is obtained.

  • Add dye to the whipped mass and mix again.
  • In a separate container, mix all the dry ingredients for the biscuit and gradually mix into the whipped colored mixture.

  • Pour half of the prepared biscuit dough into a special heart-shaped mold. If there is no such shape, then bake it in a round one, then cut out the desired shape.

  • Bake the biscuit in the oven at 180 * C for 30 minutes.
  • While the cakes are cooling, prepare the syrup for soaking. It can be prepared either from sugar and water followed by the addition of dye, or from syrup diluted with water.

  • From the first cooled cake, remove the upper part 1.5 cm thick. We also cut out the flesh, leaving the edges 1.5 cm thick and the bottom.

  • Grate the pulp on a large sharp grater.

  • We dilute gelatin in a cup by adding a little water. After swelling, heat the gelatin until completely dissolved, but do not bring it to a boil.
  • Drain all the liquid from the cherries and chop them.

  • Place cottage cheese, chopped cherries and pre-grated chocolate chips in a container. Mix the whole mass well and leave ready.

  • Whip the cream and sugar into a thick mass. Mix half the buttercream with the curd cream and add gelatin.

  • Soak the prepared biscuits and their tops with syrup. Place the first sponge cake on a plate or special base, lightly greasing it with butter cream.
  • Pour liquid cream into the inside of the sponge cake and cover with the upside down top. Grease the top with white cream.

  • We repeat the process with the second cake, placing it on top of the first.

  • In the center we make an inscription with cream and dye for your loved one, which you choose yourself.

  • Spread the entire surface of the cake with white buttercream. Sprinkle the sides and edges of the top with grated biscuit.

This dessert is prepared very quickly, it turns out tasty, tender and very impressive.

Ingredients:

  • butter - 150 g;
  • cocoa powder - 2 tbsp. l;
  • sugar - 50 g;
  • milk - 150 g;
  • vanilla crackers - 300 g.

For cream:

  • sour cream - 600 g;
  • sugar - 2 tbsp. l;
  • vanilla sugar - 1 sachet;
  • halva - 100 g;
  • chocolate - 150g;
  • walnuts - 150 g.

Preparation:

  • Starting the process of preparing the cake step by step, mix softened butter with cocoa powder, according to the recipe with the photo. Add milk and sugar to the dry mixture.
  • Heat the whole mass to a boil and remove from heat.

  • Grind vanilla crackers into crumbs using any method.
  • Add chocolate glaze to the crouton crumbs and mix the whole mass thoroughly.

  • Prepare a cake pan, round or heart-shaped. From the inside, grease the edges with butter and glue a strip of thick paper file.
  • Place the prepared dough into the mold and carefully compact the entire mass inside the mold. Place the mold in the refrigerator.

  • To prepare the cream, dilute gelatin as indicated on the bag.
  • Mix sour cream with sugar and vanilla sugar.
  • We prepare the filling by cutting the halva, nuts and chocolate into small pieces.

  • Add the cooled, but still warm, gelatin to the sour cream. We also send the prepared filler ingredients there and mix everything thoroughly.

  • Remove the pan from the refrigerator and spread the sour cream and filling on top.
  • Level the surface of the cake and put it in the refrigerator for three to four hours, preferably overnight.
  • After the cake has hardened, decorate it with cocoa powder and grated chocolate.
  • We put a pre-prepared stencil on top; you can make it from cardboard.

  • Sprinkle the cake with cocoa powder and remove the stencil. Decorate the light surface of the top of the cake with grated or chopped chocolate.

  3. Grease the multicooker bowl with oil and pour the prepared dough into it.
  4. Turn on the “baking” function and time - 1 hour.
  5. You can also bake in the oven at a temperature of 170 * C, also for an hour. After half an hour, the heat should be reduced to 160 * C.
  6. To prepare the fudge, mix all the ingredients for it and cook until thick.
  7. We grease the chocolate cake prepared for our beloved husband on February 14 with fondant. Decorate the dessert with raspberries and serve.

  • Lightly grind the dry ingredients with the butter and add the ice mixture. Knead the dough, and this should be done quickly.
  • Wrap the resulting dough in cling film and put it in the refrigerator for at least two to three hours. The best option is to let the dough rest in the refrigerator overnight.

  • For the praline, melt the sugar in a frying pan until light brown. Add pre-roasted nuts to the sugar.
  • Spread the mixture onto a greased parchment sheet in a thin, even layer.

  • When starting to prepare the custard, put the container of milk on the fire. Beat the yolks of 4 eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar.
  • Add starch to the beaten yolks (you can also use potato starch), mix everything until smooth.

  • Pour a small amount of heated milk into the egg mass with continuous stirring.
  • Pour the prepared egg mixture with milk into the boiling milk, cook until thickened, without stopping stirring.
  • Place the cream in another container and cover with cling film and leave to cool. Place the cooled cream in the refrigerator.

  • We remove the dough from the refrigerator, divide it into several pieces and bake thin cakes from them at a temperature of 180*C.

  • While the cakes are baking, finish preparing the cream. Beat the butter and add the custard into it in small portions, continuing to beat.
  • Add crushed praline to the finished cream. Grease the cakes with cream, leaving one for sprinkling.

  • Break one cake into crumbs, mix it with powder.
  • Sprinkle the cake prepared according to this recipe for your loved one with crumbs.

Red velvet cake for your loved one

You can easily prepare such a spectacular dessert as this in your kitchen to please your beloved boyfriend or husband.

Ingredients:

  • flour - 350 g;
  • cocoa powder - 100 g;
  • red food coloring;
  • butter - 250 g;
  • vanilla extract - 1 tbsp. l;
  • sugar - 150 g;
  • kefir - 200 g;
  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • soda - 1.5 tsp;
  • salt.

Preparation:

  1. In advance, according to a well-known recipe, we prepare decorations for the cake in the form of hearts and flowers from red and white mastic. We leave them to dry for about a day.
  2. To prepare the cakes, beat the butter and sugar in a mixer. Add eggs to the whipped butter one at a time, continuing to beat. Pour in vanilla extract and mix again.
  3. Mix the sifted flour with salt and cocoa.
  4. Dissolve food coloring in kefir.
  5. Mix both of these mixtures, dry and liquid, into the whipped butter in portions. Continue mixing using a mixer.
  6. After adding soda, quenched with vinegar, stir and bake the cakes at a temperature of 180*C.
  7. Using a pastry ring, cut out circles of the same size from the cakes.
  8. Grind the trimmings into crumbs.
  9. Grease the cakes with any of your favorite white cream. Assemble the cake, decorate with mastic hearts and cake crumbs.

We serve the cake to the festive table, making a gift to our beloved husband.

Fruit cake in a frying pan

There is simply no faster preparation for tea baking. And the cake with fruit turns out to be tender, aromatic and very tasty.

Ingredients:

  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • vegetable oil - 4 tbsp. l;
  • milk - 4 tbsp. l;
  • semolina - 1 tbsp. l;
  • flour - 120 g;
  • salt;
  • baking powder - 2 tsp;
  • apples - 2 pcs.;
  • kiwi - 2 pcs.;
  • pear - 1 pc.;
  • sugar - 100 g;
  • butter - 1 tbsp. l;
  • lemon zest.

Preparation:

  1. We wash, peel and cut all the fruits into large pieces. Place in a frying pan heated with butter, add half the sugar.
  2. Beat the eggs in a container and add all the listed ingredients to them.
  3. Stir the mixture thoroughly until the dough has the consistency of pancakes. If necessary, adjust the consistency of the dough by adding flour or milk.
  4. Pour the dough onto the fruit, reduce the heat and cover with a lid.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes, after which we immediately transfer the cake to a serving plate.
