To prepare this delicious snack we will need: 3 pieces of squid carcasses, 200 grams of fresh champignons, a couple of pickles - straight from the barrel (by the way, as an option, you can use fresh ones), 3 eggs, hard cheese - 100 grams, onion medium size. And also: a little mayonnaise for dressing, fresh frozen shrimp and herbs to decorate the dish.

How to cook

  1. We clean and wash the squid. Then boil in boiling water (remember that you need to cook for no more than 3 minutes, otherwise the seafood meat may become too tough). Cool and dry with a kitchen napkin.
  2. We cut the squid carcasses into strips (you can also use rings, depending on your preference).
  3. Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil (a couple of tablespoons) in a frying pan. We put mushrooms there, washed in advance and chopped coarsely. Add onion. Fry over low heat until golden and add a little salt.
  5. Boil the eggs hard and cool in cold water. Then we clean and grate coarsely.
  6. Three hard cheeses on a grater, coarsely.
  7. Cut the pickled cucumbers into strips.
  8. Combine all of the above ingredients in a large container to prepare the salad. Season with a few spoons of mayonnaise (the main thing is not to overdo it so that it does not become mushy) and mix thoroughly.

To prepare this version of the dish we will need: squid rings (semi-finished product) - 200 grams, shelled shrimp - 200 grams, seafood cocktail - 200 grams, canned sweet corn in small heads - 200 grams, a couple of fresh cucumbers (or , as an option, one avocado), salt and spices according to individual preferences.

  1. How to make this version of the “Miracle of the Sea” salad? Pretty easy, of course, if you have all the ingredients on hand! Take the squid rings and defrost them, rinsing the semi-finished product under cold water.
  2. Boil squid with shrimp and also a sea cocktail - briefly, literally a few minutes - in boiling water. After the seafood is boiled, cool it. You can cut it, or you can leave it whole - it will turn out very stylish.
  3. Pour everything into a large container for preparing salads.
  4. Open the canned corn in small heads and strain out the excess liquid.
  5. Cucumbers (or avocados) are cut as desired. But it is better to chop the dish into thin strips for a more presentable appearance.
  6. Add the remaining ingredients to the mixing container. Mix carefully. Add a little olive oil and lemon juice. The “Miracle” salad with seafood is ready and can be served. All you need to do is defrost the shrimp, or before preparing the salad, immerse them in a bag in boiling water for 10 minutes.


Boil the round rice for the salad in advance. This recipe uses rice to bind all the ingredients together. In addition, rice will add softness to the salad. Long grain rice does not have good gluten, so it is best not to use it for salad.


Chop the squid into thin strips and add to the rice along with the shrimp. Peel the boiled egg, cut into strips, add to the salad.


Strain the liquid from the corn and pea mixture and add to the bowl with the salad. I recommend buying frozen corn and peas for salads. First of all, we need to drain the brine into a separate bowl (that’s all).

Cut the leek into small half rings (if it’s large, it’s better to cut the stem into 4 parts), pour in some of the seafood brine and leave it aside for a little while (ten minutes while cooking) to marinate.

Lightly beat one large or 2 small eggs with two tablespoons of the same brine, pour into a dry frying pan and right in the frying pan with the help of a spatula we make such a ruddy egg “crumb” (just not to a dried state, of course, it is enough that the egg stuck well).

Cut the cucumber into small pieces.
If you plan to serve the salad on a festive table, you can make a “boat” out of a cucumber by carefully cutting out the middle.

In general, that's all: combine seafood, cucumber, egg and leek removed from the brine, mix and serve with herbs, pouring over the dressing.

Ingredients:

Stage 2. Let's prepare a sauce that resembles mayonnaise, but is made from boiled yolks. To do this, we need to take a teaspoon of grain mustard, 2 egg yolks, vegetable oil and soy sauce. Grind everything thoroughly until you get a homogeneous mass, to which we add lemon juice to give a pleasant taste and obtain the consistency of the sauce.

Stage 3. Grate the remaining ingredients, which include the remaining whites, a couple more eggs, cheese and avocado pulp, which must first be mashed with a fork.

Stage 4. We take out our pickled seafood and place it in a blender, where we grind it until all large pieces disappear.

Stage 5. You can start making the salad itself.

To do this, mix all the ingredients together and taste (spiciness, salt). It is considered normal if the dish is noticeably spicy, but not hot. Also pay attention to the acidity of the salad; it should be only slightly perceptible; this can be balanced with sugar. But in general, you should focus on your preferences. You should not add mayonnaise to the salad, because it is already quite juicy and tasty.

Stage 6. It came to arranging and decorating the salad for the festive table. Place the salad on a large flat plate in the shape of a snake. Try to make sure that not only you, but also your guests recognize it. When the salad has taken the desired shape, apply the sauce using a pastry brush. It will make the salad even more juicy, and will help attach the decoration to the salad - this will make them easier to mold.

Stage 7. Make the snake colorful and bright. To decorate in this form you will need dry paprika, olives, turmeric oil, chili and dry dill. Sprinkle the body of our snake with dry dill, which will give it a green color, which we will take as a basis.
